I had a 1995 200 HP Johnson on a 23' center console and I was very happy with it. It had about 300 hours on it when I got it. I never had a problem with it. I owned it for 5 years and did all the maintenance myself. Your Envinrude motor is the same motor as my 95 Johnson. It was very good on gas. I would run it between 3200 and 3500 rpm. Now if your not an intelligent person and run it wide open all the time (4500-5000 rpm) the it will suck gas. In my opinion it is a very good motor as long as it is not the FICHT fuel injection. If it is this type do not buy the boat. These motors have a history off catching fire.
