the merger has been aproved and all stock converted to Sirius. in order to get regulatory approval the combined companies, among other things, had to come up with a plan for ala cart programing. in addition they are comming out with a reciever that will take signals from both sets of satelites.

if i were you i would wait until those new receivers come out, which should be shortly
