The three men "grew up" in the lower 48. Sarah Palin's frame of reference as she "grew up" politically was Alaska. From what I can tell she did a danm good job as Governor, and indeed accomplished a he!! of a lot more as Governor of Alaska that Barack Obama did as a Senator.

What's to say that she can't quickly adjust her frame of reference to a more broad scope. She is different, she is a change. Gosh, are you Democrats afraid of something different? Something that might be a change? Sure seems to me that is exactly what you've been tooting your horn about.

I too expressed a little reservation about her to my wife, but she quickly replied that, although Sarah Palin might not be totally up on everything, she was smart enough that, God forbid, she had to assume the presidency, she would surround herself with sage advisors who could help her through the transition.

I really think you folks are short-changing Sarah Palin.
