In my opinion, there are a lot of ways to interpret what is in the Koran, just as with the Bible.
And yes, I do think it is a fair comparison -- there are as many evil white people with a personal agenda as their are Muslims. What about all the Skinheads, Aryian Nation and those other groups that don't believe that the US government is a legitmate country. They are out there. That is not to say that I would think it okay if Muslims were a disperportionate number appointed to confirmable positions. I would hope their representation would be commeasurate with the percentage of Muslims in the population. I think a diverse workforce is good.
