..."mindless babble"???...Thanks, Mrs. Bigfoot...that's the last time I will ask you to cover for me when I am in an internet vacuum...and I do mean vacuum...the internet doesn't reach to York, AL...gotta talk to Al Gore about that..now on to important stuff...
WEEK 13: ..and what a week it was!! My prediction of an easy week came true moreso for others than for myself. LAMONT closed hard hitting his final 7 games in a row and nosed out the field. TALISI and JIMBOB
were in hot pursuit and finished out the trifecta. We have a new percentage mark for weekly picks as LAMONT hit a blazing 76.5 % and TALISI and JIMBOB both eclipsed the old mark with 70.6% . In fact, except for one, the entire field hit above the 50 % mark...can you say TWO DAY JUNKET TO VEGAS....giddyap...let's go!!
NOW...here's what's good....the OVERALL is now 'tighter than Dick's hat band!! By the way, what does that mean?...heard it all my life...oh well....BAMABOB is holding on for dear life but the tenacious JIMBOB has scratched his way into a 3-way tie with MAVERICK and TALISI for second place. BAMABOB now has 110 points and holding on to a shaky 3 point lead. BIGFOOT, LAMONT and a couple of others are not out of it but should be thinking about a Hail Mary soon. As for the OVERALLALL w/ MULLIGAN, not sure on that one...will have to do some calcumolations at the end of the final week. Okay, it's now IRON BOWL time...CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP time....and TURKEY time.....hope you all have a good one and look for an EARLY DEADLINE for this week's picks...I will post when spreads are ready. Congratulations to this week's record-setters!!
