You must be really close to our house. I have the same view out my window. We are on the point (Kewanee Lane) with the out of water boat house that doesn't have a door. The reason we don't have a door is the lake flooded and floated the boat in the boat house and broke the door. The water came a few feet from our front porch. That was around 1978. Maybe a year after we built the house. My dad had asked around about the highest level the lake had flooded and built the boat house a few feet beyond that.
