I just didn't want folks to get the impression that suddently it was OK to hunt, kill, or harrass them. I didn't hear about the Tallassee case. That is interesting. One thing that puzzles me is why the current numbers and loxations are kept so secret by the powers that be. One thing is for certain, there are a lot more around than most folks realize. I have personally watched the DARE Park pair raise three sets of eaglets and they don't stray to far from home to make thier home from what I have read. One thing is for sure, human population does not bother them when choosing where to nest.
