Oh, sorry it's a pilot thing... FBO = Fixed Base Operator

Basically the operator of the airport, not necessarily the owner. Common services are AvGas, Jet Fuel, Tiedowns, Hangar Rentals and Maintenance Services. Most of the time the FBO is a person or company on contract to operate the airport for a city or county. Sometimes you'll find an airport with more than one FBO and they compete against each other.

I heard recently the FBO in Alexander City airport was switching over from being operated by Russell Corp (not to be confused with Russell Lands) and was going to be managed by the city. Something about Fruit of the Loom (a Bowling Green, KY company that now owns Russell Corp) was going to run all flight operations out of Bowling Green, KY and sell one of more jets operated elsewhere, including Alex City. Another example of the bad economy I guess.
