The old timers say that if it thunders in February you can count on a last blast of freezing weather almost to the day 60 days later. Watch the sky and see. I am guessing that we will have a cold blast about April 10th. if we get the storms predicted for the next couple of days you will want to wait for your annuals. February is the month to cut back your roses however. Pick up a Farmers' Almanac. They are a pretty good source for your planting and always have some good tips in them.
