Had an interest rate of 2.99% with Chase, for life of loan , They came in said oh no changing terms .. we had paid it off but screw them.. Lowes home improvement basically did the same thing.. they said due to the times they were limiting the amount we could charge...we do 12 months same as cash.. never missed a payment and we don't pay late .. good deal for us .. everyone is scared now with abomination..fear makes people/companies take actions they normally would not.
