I've had my Mastercard since 1978 with a similarly high credit limit. I recently got a notice from the issuing bank that they will be charging a minimum 7.75% APR. Doesn't bother me because I pay the bill in full each month, but it did take me back a bit. I think we're all paying the price for all those people who defaulted on their credit.
