It is March 1, 2009. It is snowing hard. Yesterday and the day before we had 4" of rain and Lanier is up 5". Several weeks ago we had a similar amount of rain and the lake rose 9 times as much. All downstream lakes on the Hooch and Flint are full! Southwest Ga. and the Fl. panhandle have had near to above normal rain for the fall and winter. 92% of the basins water enters south of Buford dam. Can anyone tell me what in the name of all that is fair what the h... is going on?
