I have read Bailey's writings and they are good, but he mostly writes about growing up on the lake.

This came to me because I saw your response on the Graveyard Island thread. And I seem to remember a number of times you've chimed in with information about wildlife and about birds. I suspect that you are an "observer". Lots of people know stuff, but it's not the same as being an observer and seeing things over a period of years. I have a number of books of this type and they are some of the most enjoyable reading.

We have a small aluminum boat and we've used that to explore some of the unpopulated areas over here by us. For example, the other day I noticed a stacked stone wall up in the woods, seemingly unrelated to anyone's property. How did it get there? How long as it been there and who built it? I suspect that there are all kinds of cool little spots that only someone who has been on the lake for a long time would know.

Anyway, it was just a thought. But, you should think about it.
