I remember that year. many people had built their docks a little below 490'. When the water level went over the deck boards, it actually pulled some poles up a few inches. And the ones that had floating docks with poles attached to the fixed pier really had problems. If they have to open all of the flood gates and it's not still raining, drive to the Hwy 50 bridge. It's an awsome sight.
