I guess you are right.

I heard more about this last night. Apparently this came up as a result of several Congressional investigations that are on-going, so Obama was answering the question about whether he would seek to block any criminal prosecutions that might come out of the investigation.

I think Congress and the Administration should just let this go. What is done is done. I'm not saying that I favor torture because we got information out of it, but some things should just be left alone. It sounds like a legal goatrope to me and nothing will come out of it. Nothing comes out of most Congressional reports except more hot air. I don't think Obama wants to see anything happen to Bush, because he doesn't know where the next crisis is going to take him.
