I have talked to a lot of people/home owners in the W, W, W.W.& R. areas most if not all 15/20 yr. roofs are being replaced, 25/30 yr. about 1/2 & 1/2. I do not know if any of the 40 or 50 that are needing replacement. The one cement roof that I know of in the area seems to have weathered the hail well also. I have a 50 yr. on my home it had very little damage, only a few large dents.
Gutters, gutter guards, skylites, roof vents, metal ridge vents and a bunch of metal clad windows all took a beating. If the roofs are older than 10 yrs. more than likely will need replacement. Some of the insurance inspector will not even get up on the steeper roofs to inspect them... go figure. lol
Hope this answers your question. By the way what was it....?
