I thought we were talking about "mainstream" people.

Lamont's point was that some woman came in to file bankrupsy and didn't want to give back her bedroom set. And commented on "where would she sleep". And the response was "her $1700 sofa". And he said she was carrying a $500 bag. So maybe it's that woman that is out of touch. She's the one filing for bankruptsy and having to adjust her standards. Go tell her.

I like nice things, I have nice things, I worked for my nice things and I make no apologies for having them. I am well aware that I am blessed. So if that is being out of touch, then so be it. Ignorance is bliss.
