If you get an answer that says "I don't like my lake area" I would be surprised. But..
We selected Parker Creek simply because it cut down the commute time from B'Ham on Friday Nite a little. No other reason 18 years ago.

- Boat Traffic - Water clarity
- Restaurants - Marina access
- Shopping - Privacy
- Density - Commute to/from home

PC has clear water, less boat traffic, some privacy, lower density, with absolutely no restaurants, poor marina, no shopping at all, and lonely, lonely, sometimes spooky Winter weekends. Also, no law enforcement evident, ever, never.

All bets are OFF if Russell starts development of the peninsula it owns, measured by water from PC Marina almost to Real Island Marina.

Several years ago LM was listed as one of the most desirable retirement locations in the US. We knew that already, did we not?
