See the below link - April 09 did not beat April 08. Also see some pretty interesting stats on lot sales.

But, judging from the "pending" sales, I think May 09 will beat 08, and June will be a winner too. I was (thankfully) very busy over the weekend, and talking with some other agents, they agreed.
