ok, so i live at lake, [not retired like most],& really enjoying the new opportunities; havent tried oryster bars or la posada yet, but will soon; [1] anchor bay now open--good price point menu, can boat up, remodeled, friendly--do visit them !; it will do good;[2] niffers--cant boat up, but fun bingo//burger nights, casual, good price point; [3]springhouse== delightful--1 date with the wife//friends monthly, & especially the up lounge; [4] christophers--there tonite--will be there monthly + sunday brunch monthly--refreshing to see cordial waiters, dressed not in cutoffs, polite, & johnny on the spot==had 2 entrees [salmon & grouper--] 3 glasses wine, comp bread--$70 & have enough left over for sunday night dinner; appetizers are huge, so next visit will be crab claws [$13], gumbo, & split a salad; [5] Catherines--i love it, especially the casual breakfast & choose your own salads[6] red hill cotttage--get take out 2x week--great veggies, meatloaf & best bbq around--all on big green egg--oh yea, banana puddin too ![6] green valley mkt--been here 2 years now--dining help not always friendly-good food//meat cuts[7] sinclairs--ok--here, can boat up, waiters dressed sometimes in ugly cutoffs [most diners dressed better than staff],cant seem to get tables clean sometimes--last visit 2 weeks ago, i waited to have table cleaned, when staff did it, i politely asked him to wipe dirty seat--and he handed me a dirty napkin to do it my self--needless to say i didnt--management needs to be more handds on on floor-- & not real sure whats going on--food ok, deck needs pressure washing !!--note to owners--you are not the only kid on the block anymore--byut I still go & will continue; comments ???
