Thanks so much.

I've even looked INSIDE the helm station and there is not a capicity plate anywhere. The engine is original to the boat and there are seats for 9 plus the captain. So making a judgement call and from what I've seen on most boats that size, limit it to 8 people or 1400 pounds and I figure I'm safe. I've tried to locate the builder but they are no longer in business.
