Just cannot justify a $800+ Big Egg yet, so I went with a Propane Cabelas(Masterbuilt) Combo on-line for $179 plus shipping.
Worked great on a whole turkey first time. Held steady 225* temp for 8 hours, pecan chips, used 1/2 tank of gas. Nicely brown-crusted skin. Smoke ring and all.
Next up, a Butt and a beef brisket at the same time for @ 15 hours on the 4th. Ribs later that day.
Pro/cons if interested. Not bad at all for the price thus far.
