The Frogs certainly have a strange way of expressing gratitude. When I was in Turkey in the late 60s there were some of our AF folks there who had been in France when we got the boot. There was some small satisfaction in their voices though, when they told of little surprises they left the Frogs, like pouring bags of cement in the toilets and then flushing. followed by another bag or two for S&Gs........
