My next American car will be a Ford product. I have a '99 Expedition with 152,000 miles on it and there is essentially nothing wrong with it (knock on wood). I have had very little in the way of maintenance costs.

I recently purchased a Nissan Versa as my knock-about-town car (jury is still out on that one), yet would have strongly considered the little Ford (Focus?) - but I wanted a hatchback and they stopped producing hatchbacks the year before.

All that being said, it is still kind of hard to kill a Toyota......
