You do bring back memories. In 1955 We did go to the "picture show" or simply the "show" and it cost a quarter if you were under 12. It then evolved into The "movie", the "flicks" in college and then the "cinema". Now we are so sophisticated we go to see a "film" and pay $8.00 even with the senior discount.

How I do miss the front seat side vent windows once on all cars. If we brought them back we could reduce the use of AC and cut our oil consumption.

Can you remember when women went to a "beauty shop" or more likely "shoppe" while men were religated to the "barber shop", never "shoppe". Now its a "salon" for all
