economy (NY Times July 22, 2009). That's going to be the Messiah's message tonight. They rescued the economy but if we don't pass this abominable health care bill it will go down the tubes. I wonder if the 9.5% (soon to be 10%-11%) of the population on the unemployment line feel rescued? I wonder if our children and grandchildren will feel rescued as they have a lower standard of living so they can pay of the $23 trillion in new debt they have given us. I wonder if every single American family that has to pay $4,000 more per year for energy because of tax and trade will feel rescued? I wonder if all the small businesses that will have to pay a 5% surcharge on their company income will feel rescued? And finally, I wonder if the elderly, when they are denied health care and told to go to the hospice and die because it is their patriotic duty will feel rescued?

Somehow I think not.
