The actual demographic for a typical customer is proberly closer to a 50yr old, affluent, white, former Hot Babe Lib. I would suggest that you will see a retraction that will state the views were that of the CEO and not the Company. It is dangerous to mix politics and business when you are a CEO in a specialty business and imply that it is the view of the Company. It is a position that you cannot win unless you are a Catholic bookstore and write you are against abortion and gay rights.

Many of his points I agree with. I think you would find most of his employees are young and do not use much of their benefits. The use of an HSA with a high deductible is a good way for a Company or Individual to keep down the cost. The only drawback is that some do not seek medical treatment to save the money in the HSA. Nothing is perfect.
