While you and I may question welfare, it is legal in this country. Just as legal as carrying an AK 15 in full view to a rally in Arizona.

I suspect there are a number of Americans who lived in a welfare home who have died in Iraq serving the cause of freedom, as well as, now serving there. Should they have been denied the opportunity to join the military cause they were from a welfare home?

There are 18 positions on the Board. One is given to a person who represents a large rider segment. From a PR position, it is smart to have her as part of the solution. There is much more than just finances. I would place her on the Customer Development Committee.

Would I want a welfare recipient on my BOD? If a large segment of my market was directed at inner city lower income blacks, the answer is yes.
If I owned a super market in the inner city I think a welfare mom on my board would be a prudent decision. I believe in empowering people by including them in the solution of the problem.

We just look at things differently.

To answer your last question. No, I have not sent my address. If I want to meet someone I invite them over. I don’t sell my wife’s address and I assume you have enough love and respect for your wife not to sell her address.
