Well, I didn't condemn, dismiss or mock the program and I know this will probably be fruitless 'cause I don't think it will get thru your fog.......but, I saw a report the other day that did an anlysis on just that question. The writer looked at the relative job creating benefits of both programs and concluded that the mortgage related subsidy was by far the best. One, because a majority of the new vehicles bought were foreign and this type activity did not create significant local benefit, and, two because construction activity has traditionally been proven to turn over $7 for ever $1 invested. Being an architect you probably already knew that.......
