There were in general, two kinds of people who took advantage of this program – those who were already considering a trade, and those whose neighbor or friend had a nicer car. Those who had planned to trade just got the rest of the taxpayers in the village to help them get that shiny new set of wheels; the rest will be delinquent on their new loans within three months – right around Christmas. Your math does not take this into effect, and totally misses the boat on the next packages of redistribution. I foresee a “Right to Personal Transportation” bill to take over the bad paper from those who cannot afford the new payments and an “Every Child Deserves a Great Christmas” bill so that there is no inequality along the blocks of our cities. Come on WW, look at how much more our Government can do for us, and yes, our medical woes will be fixed with the same thoughtfulness and efficiency. Get on board and forget about out of date ideas like that pesky Constitution.
