Being that NO previous repair center is mentioned, I'll offer an answer. (It would not be in good taste otherwise) First off, the switch was not properly wired, therefore not sending 12volts to where it is suppose too. Also, one wire was left off that feeds a junction where many other wires feed from. It appeared that in an attempt to get power they (whoever that may be) somehow connected the bow running lights to the ignition switch so everytime bootyrunner cranked the boat the bow light came on. (I guess they figured he was crazy man and needed to see him coming, lol) NO wires were secure and just hanging loose under the dash (Don't know if it was that way before) and it only took a few minutes to make things look a little more professional. On a side note, to make sure there are no future problems we installed a secure battery box and remounted the powertrim pump and re-ran the wires for good measure. The best part of the day was when we took that classic Whaler for a test ride. The River is only about 2 miles away. I took the rest of the afternoon off, put two COLD Miller Lites in a small cooler and took that jewel for a 20 minute cruise. Adjusted on the carb a little bit so the old 150hp Black Max was purrin' and enjoyed the moment. Sorry for long post.

Steve

I am not busy today if anyone needs me call the shop. Otherwise, I may go to Clearwater and hang out with Mark.
