I guess that depends on how often he's talking to the CENTCOM Commander. I assume the military still works that information flows upward (and Sh*t flows down LOL), so if McCrystal and staff are flowing information upward to Petrateus and he's talking daily/weekly to the President, then I guess I don't really care.
This could be more about the relationship between McCrystal and Petraus than the President and McCrystal. And then of course, there is the SECDEF in there too.
This only says to me that Obama is letting McCrystal run his war. Sometimes no news is good news. And we don't know how often he speaks to his Commander in Iraq either.
In fact, do we know how often Bush spoke to Petraeous? I don't think so.
