I was not going to post anything about this issue but have had dozens of people ask so here is the story...

After 4 years of competing against Sinclair’s with an unfair advantage of being able to sale Alcohol on Sundays,
We were so excited for the 2013 season to be on an even playing field, I was told by the state ABC board that
when Sinclair’s closed that there would no longer be Sunday sales at that location. The high dollar lawyers
of Russell Corp found some way to make the area a so called Development District witch allows them to sale on
Sundays.

We are a family business trying to make a living and this is truly not far to us on any other business in Elmore
County

I am in the process of retaining a lawyer to se what my options under the law are.

Hopefully the business playing field will be even again soon

Meanwhile, could you not do "Private Club" on Sundays? Or, BYOB on Sunday? That may be kinda fun. I have no idea what I am talking about, but have purchased so called "club cards" before at places.  On another note, what is a "Development District?

Just sayin'

I have tied everything under the sun, they are no longer giving out private club licenses and you can’t do BYOB
if you have a Liq license. And I have no clue what a Development Distract is but it’s not wright
another way Russell monopolizes the lake

Just LEASE the place to Jeff (HPHQ) and I on Sundays.  We will operate the "Private Club" deal.  Problem solved.  Your thoughts???????

I hope you get it worked out fairly. But you still have the best food, great atmosphere and friendly service. Top on our list!

Other thoughts. Get boat and sign asking people not to go to it. Park it in public waters. Same with land setup. Then schedule demonstrations while getting Montgomery, Birmingham and Atlanta reporters.  If we the people are united and consistent, we will put them out of business.
