Have you noticed the new message on APCO's lake level website:

Effective - 5/2/2008

Lake level is near summer pool but drought conditions continue across the state of Alabama. Lake elevations are always subject to change, depending on conditions.

I hope this is not a forboding of things to come. We need rain!!

We have gotten at least 3/4 - 1 inch of rain every weekend for the past 3 weekends. We are on the eclectic side of the lake. And supposedly there will be some more tomorrow. Surely hope so!

I goofed!

I meant foreshadowing.

Those statements seem like an attorney writes them. Lots of words you can interpret many ways. I know recreation has no priority, but our business sure does depend on it.

Raining good all morning. Now get ready for the lake to drop several inches. Good for Apco I guess.
