A guy took his blonde girlfriend to her first football game.
They had great seats right behind their team's bench.
After the game, he asked her how she liked the experience.
'Oh, I really liked it,' she replied, but I just couldn't understand why they were killing each other over 25 cents'
Dumbfounded, her date asked, 'What do you mean?'
'Well, they flipped a coin, one team got it and then for the rest of the game, all they kept screaming was:
'Get the quarterback! Get the quarterback!'
I'm like...Helloooooo?
It's only 25 cents!!!!

about 20 or more years ago when Ga. Tech was in a serious football depression the story went around of a convention official who was charged to provide wrap-up entertainment on the last day of the meeting which happened to be on an Oct. Saturday. On Friday night a crisis arose when he learned that the venue he had booked for a fairwell party had just burned to the ground. He was at a loss but noticed in a hotel events calender that Ga. Tech was playing football the next afternoon. He immediately called the Tech ticket office. The following conversation occured:
Any chance of gettig tickets to tomorrow's game at this late
date?
We have several tickets available, how many do you need?
Weeell...here's where my problems start. I need about 900.
You got no problem, we can accomodate you.
Fantastic! It would be great to sit as a group but I guess...
No problem we can seat you as a group.
That is great. I can't believe it. What kind of seats are they?
50 yard line OK?
Absolutely! I can't believe my luck. What time's the kickoff?
