If a new permit is required to rebuild my pier? A tree fell on it and it's destroyed. I'm about to see if I can email someone from APCO but I just thought I would ask. Looks like I get a new pier from Christmas! Peace, <>< TC

Not sure in your case but I was told that you had to have a permit to build repair or replace !!

Pretty sure that if you have bought a permit in 2011 it is good for the entire year on the same structure...... new permit needed if not Call this guy - David McKinney -205-472-0481

Yeah, I talked to Greg this morning. Gotta have a permit period. If it's just a repair, they often don't charge but if I take this opportunity to make some modifications, I gotta pay.
