This winter when the lake is down I plan to replace a wooden sea wall with concrete build boat house and replace floating dock.
Looking for a contractor to do entire job.
Any recommendations?

Henderson & Coker. May not do the B. house though but the very best for the concrete sea wall. Reasonable too...If you don't want to deal with 2 contractors then I suggest a construction manager for a small fee...

Do you know any construction managers?
We are in Birmingham and I travel a great deal so it is hard to manage a job long distance.

Sending it by email. I'd talk to others as well for their areas of expertise

Just be sure NOT to use ASI Construction. These guys(Tommy Abernathy - owener) are quite possibly the most dishonest contractor that I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. His work is also subpar.

I would have to totally DISAGREE with the last post regarding ASI and Tommy Abernathy.

We used him a few months ago to install a boat lift in our boathouse and they did an EXCELLENT job!! Very prompt and courteous.

Of course, I can only speak for my own experience but I would not hesitate to use him again.

Tommy Abernathy is a great contractor and an honest Christian man. If you had a problem with him it must have been something out of his control. Sounds like slander to me.

I don't have any problems with ASI.

I will say that they quoted building me pier...said it would take 30 days.

I had it done by a different contractor out of Atlanta and it only took 4 days and the quality was first class!!

For a sea wall around here...I would use Leon Archer @ 256-825-5775.

He's done work for us before and is a good and honest person to use.

Just keep in mind....you get what you pay for....whoever you wind up using!

Good luck.........................Stratman.....
