Yesterday (12/14/04) I arrived at my cabin near Goat Island to find that someone had stolen my two seat electric Bass Hound 9.4 fishing boat. It had been pulled out of the water and was sitting on one of my floating docks. It was tied to the floating dock and securely covered with a tarp. The thief left the tarp, but took the boat and all of its contents...fishing poles, tackle box, etc... The boat has a green exterior and camel colored interior. I doubt I will ever see it again, but simply wanted to put this message out there for others to be on the look out for their own property. Have a merry Christmas every one!

Sorry to hear about this. I am sure you alerted the Water Patrol to be on the lookout. Unless the theif takes the boat out of state, they will have to register the boat again since your own numbers are on the boat and could be easily spotted. Wonder if the registration people at the courthouse could also be on the lookout.

I would post a picture if avaliable at the marinas and ask them to also be on the lookout. Would contact nearby pawn shops and give them details as well.

Been hear for years, and this is rare, though nevertheless infuriating.

If you have one, post a picture here too. It's a long shot, but we can keep an eye out for it.

We will keep our eyes out for the boat. Please call me with the AL numbers and I will pass the info on to the Marine Police when they are next here at Anchor Bay.

Sorry to hear this. I'll look out for it too. I leave my canoe out tied to a tree. I've worried about it being stolen. I hope this won't become a common happenning.
