How is the weather on the lake today--Wednesday? Hope to come to the lake this afternoon and take a boat ride (pontoon). Early reports seemed to indicate very high winds today. Appreciate any good info. Thanks!

Extremely windy already. Went out at 9 am, was windy, but by 10 am it was blowing very hard. The pontoon boat handled the waves well, but the wind make the ride cold & uncomfortable. Fish were not biting. Maybe you can find a protected slough.....

Thanks for the info. We decided it might be a bit rough, so postponed our plans until tomorrow (Thursday). If any of you get a reading on the weather there tomorrow I would appreciate your posting it. Thanks!

Here is a link to get the Alexander City weather...should give you a pretty good idea on the weather at the Lake.
