to my post below. I asked some real good questions, but hardly anyone is paying it any attention.

I have noticed a sharp drop in the number of people posting on this board, and the number of sensible posts. Don't know why, but it is a shame. It has been a very good source of info in the past. Maybe the good posters are all on vacation! I am, as the name indicates, a part-timer and therefore don't have an answer for your questions. I don't get to the lake often . Love it, as you do, when I do get there, though!

I thought "Bob the Builder" was funny. I am sorry you didn't, Jim. Are you too old to know about Bob the Builder?

Sorry....wasn't sure my input was helpful but here goes:

#1 Uh....dined @ Oskar's the other night and was sickened by the sight of the clearing seeing how our place is on that side of Blue Creek bridge and I had fished that shoreline all my life (30+yrs). God, I'm having trouble appreciating bulldoziers. Anyhooo...I asked the waitress and she said the owner had cleared it to sell. My opinion is to "sell" or develop himself. We all know what's happening here.

#2 Never seen "The Harbor" (I don't think, although I have traversed the whole lake to my knowledge) but I'm sure it has something to do with money and nothing to do with preserving the beauty of the lake that attracts so many idiots and normal people alike.

#3 Hasn't R. Scrushy lost ALL of is credibility by now? God, what does he have to do to make people forget he exists? Kill a child?

#4 By boat...hmmm...the only one with an extensive menu is The Cove. Can't really offer an opinion since I've only been there once....by land...:) Chuck's has great pizza.

#5 I only wish more people would take the time and effort (including myself) to install more rope swings around the lake. They are so much fun and graffitti and cans of paint usually have little effect on the ambience of the surroundings. The Rocks is one nasty place to visit. It's a shame so many idiots feel the need to express themselves at the expense of others enjoyment. Also a shame that the law allows it. But, the good days are gone and we all must accept the trash pile we live in.

Hope I've helped.

And what part of that did you not understand? Drugs you may need, that's the wrong one.
