Longneck meeting went down...I met with shoefly, colemadina, Jr. Sr. Lakeman, Lakefun, Babygirl, Fountainrider, and even met folks that read and not post. (hope i didnt forget any names) At the sandbar in front of kowaliga, I even met PONTOON. Pontoon has a noisy boat, (louder than mine by the way) and, it's not a pontoon, and he (I said he) dont even own a fishing pole, and has a donkey for a pet). We told Jr, SALLY was the bar tender, and he didnt know if he should try to pick her up, or run like hell. I talked to Jr. on sunday, and he was still looking for his @ss. funny. By the way, Jr. I found your @ss in the back seat of my boat where JIM left it. (lol). Man, what a wonderful weekend it was, no rain, just sun, fun and great times. Lakeman, I know you got in Sr's boat and went for a ride, you are riding with me next time. This is a great place to be, and a wonderful country to live in. When I got to Lakemans' house, he was not waiting for me?. I have been stood up again, after all this time. My wife stood me up several time before we got married.!! Glad to meet you all, and look foreward to next time.... "BLING IT ON", (i had to type that again)

I think you came within 75 feet of our boathouse Saturday afternoon.
Did you scooped up a purple noodle from the water after stopping at a house boat Sat.? We were sitting on my deck, and I wasn't 100% sure, but I thought I read "Bling It On" when you stopped at my neighbors house.
Sounds like everyone had a GREAT weekend with beautiful weather all alround! We did too, but called it our last weekend at the lake for the summer. We have got some cleaning out to do before the dozer work starts. Gotta get things moving so we will be up and running for next year!

Yea, I stopped at the house boat, and spoke to them, and also said hello to buddy that lives in house beside where the house boat was parked. Buddy has yellow and white caravelle that i just did motor work on, and his neighbor has fountain with one of my engines in it also. You should have hollared out, and we could meet in person. Our boat is yellow and purple on white. (for sale on classifieds on this site). Man, I wish we had seen yall.
p.s. my boat is very very very quite.

Sorry I missed. Ended up pulling the boat up to Smith Lake. I know, i'm a loser. But I saved a good bit on fuel.
But I can say that Smith lake has NOTHING on Lake Martin. BLING ON LAKE MARTIN!
I'll try and make the next Longneck meeting. Would like to meet all you guys atleast once. Then I can atleast give a friendly wave at the Rock.

Ah yeah right!!!!! If I would have hollered, you wouldn't have heard me anyway. I told our friends you probably had your mufflers on too.
I figured I had the right boat, I put two and two and two together, remember?
Were ALL those kids yours? :-)
We met your builder buddy yesterday, he came over and introduced himself to my husband (also a builder). They talked man stuff,...boat houses, gable ends, decks,...I got bored and went back inside. :-/
Anyway, we could hear you all the way back past Real Island and then some. Cool boat though,...we guess you get about 10 foot to the gallon?
We won't be on the water anymore till next year, but we'll be up there a lot overseeing the building process. Hopefully if the hubby and I can meet somewhere in the middle,we can get started soon.

Did'nt use the mufflers this weekend. One of them is not functioning properly. ALL those kids are not mine, we have 5 and 14 year old. But the 14 year old has buddies. Funny, wild hotrod boat haulin' around a bunch of kids. Sometimes they like to all jump in shoefly's boat and run him crazy. Which builder buddy did you meet? Don or Jimmy? I am thinking it was Don, he lives down that way. He is good guy.
