the Senate at the last moment added this to HB756:

AMENDMENT TO HB756 AS ENGROSSED BY THE HOUSE

8 On page 2, line 8, add the following new subsection
9 (2) and renumber the subsequent subsections accordingly:
10 (2) Beginning three months after the effective date
11 of this section, the use or operation of personal watercraft
12 commonly referred to as jet skis, shall be prohibited prior to
13 the hour of 9:00 AM and after the hour of 6:00 PM of the
14 appropriate time zone of the respective lakes.

From my understanding and from listening to the Senate, Sen. Enfinger proposed that amendment, but I don't think that it got enough support to be added into the finanlized aproved bill. I could be wrong when it comes to that, but I didn't think Enfinger's admen passed. But this should be an indication to everyone on what they will be attacking next.

I believe the amendment proposed by Sen Enfinger might have been an attempt to simply find a way to amend the bill, which would have effectively killed it since any amendment would have required House action and there was not time for that to occur in this legislative session.
