Sandy Creek is OK, but heard tornado hit north of Dadeville close to Hwy 280. Power out to 700 customers. No damage report yet.

That would be the Sandy Creek area, right?

Just trying to see if you were a neighbor. Osms is in the Sandy Creek area as I am.

WSFA in Montgomery reporting power outage as posted before. No report on any structural damage. Only .04 inch of rain in the Windermere area. Cloudy with no wind, temp of 67.

Just spoke to my lake neighbor and he said up by Wind Creek quarter size hail and extremely high winds, but no damage.

Best he could tell is if a tornado touched down might have been up past the railroad tracks to the east of River North Marina from the direction the storm was coming which was out of Alexander City towards Dadeville east side of Hwy 280. He says news right now is reporting no structural damage.

Thanks for the weather news. I have a place near Wind Creek, have you heard any more reports of damage or no damage in that area? Need to know if I need to make plans to head down there tomorrow.

We are mid way between Wind Creek and Hwy 280 bridge, no damage. Looking at the weather map looks like cell came around by Alex City from the west, then turned southeast towards Dadeville but on the east side of Hwy 280 just like my neighbor has thought.

So if you are to the west of the 280 Bridge I would think you are fine.

Thanks! Glad you had no damage as well. I hope some of the heavier rains are in GA making the Tallapoosa rise so we can benefit from it.

Per Google Maps - Spencer Lumber is on the east side of Hwy 280 correct? Off of Fulton Street.
