Yea that is a pretty big lake and if you read their forum someguy is on there bashing APCO and some guys come up and say so what - we have water so leave us out of it.

The way I see it is we are all neighbors in one way or another and if some BIG company is acting irresponsibly and it is a nuisance in any way to my neighbors anywhere on the lake I would be willing to join in any action against that company.

While I may not have it as bad as some folks do, we are all in the same boat so to speak and what affects some today will affect everyone else eventually. Nobody is really immune to what is happening out here, I do not care how much water you still have, in some way or another it is affecting what you do and how you do it.

Even while you have a full pool of water on Lay there are some things that I am not sure I would be comfortable with by investing in property there. Please do not take offense to that, it was a great place to visit and I do plan on coming back, I just do not know that I would invest the same amount of money that I have on Logan Martin if I had the opportunity to do so.

Sorry, I really do hate rambling on and on and on.....

I understand other other....We are stepchildren down here compared to most lakes in Alabama and I'm totally OK with that...I live here, if I were investing in a second home I'm not sure I'd buy here (my second home will be Gulf Shores in a few years)...But all in all I love Lay Lake, and to be honest I'd never been on it until I bought this house...To each his own..
