You can bet that will be the ticket. Edwards didn't endorse him for nothing. Edwards does NOTHING for nothing.

God help us all.

I'm sure you know more about this than I do, so I'll hold you to your guess..........but I don't think so............Edwards brings hardly anything to the ticket. Think it will be more like a Gov, ex-Gov or elder statesman............

Come on now. You don't REALLY think he would put Brylcream on those beautiful locks do you? Not after spending $400 for a haircut....lol. have you seen his 'primping video". Amazing to watch.

I wish. Apathy will however turn out to be a vote for socialism. Those of us who are working will end up working far more to pay for those who choose not to, healthcare will be run by the same people who pay $100.00 for a $.25 hammer, and the gun turn in lists – I mean registration - will begin so that we subjects will not threaten OUR government.

Bad link LTL? And why would he not - it seems like he spends a fortune on full body Viagra.

Sorry for the bad link.. Just Google "I Feel Pretty". The second link is the video set to music, but it is only 2 minutes instead of the full 5 minute viersion. It is really disgusting to see a grown man going to such pains to make sure EACH hair is in the right place.

From the various rumor mills I pay attention to, the VP candidate I'm most afraid of is Ted Strickland. He has massive approval ratings in Ohio, and that would almost assuredly give Obama/Strickland one of the big three swing states.

As far as the rumor mills go for the Republican side, it looks like it is going to be the governor of FL. He has about an 80% approval rating down there and would almost certainly give Mccain that state, so it looks like the election is going to come down to Pennsylvania, and unfortunately, I believe Obama/Strickland have a pretty decent shot at it.

But then again, this is all just rumors and speculation I've picked up on. Personally, I think Mccain's best chance would be to get Huckabee on board and use him as a platform for the Fair Tax, but I'm afraid Mccain will want someone with ideas similar to his own, just about 30 years younger.

Your post is spot on. I really don't expect the VP to be Edwards either, but HIS ego probably thinks it is going to be. He was at least promised a spot on the short list I'm sure. Kinda funny he waited till the nomination was locked up before choosing sides. Nothing like hedging your bets.

As for the real VP, I had not heard of the Ohio Gov, but I will check it out. makes perfect sense. But other than their own state, does a VP candidate really bring any other votes. I have NEVER even considered who the VP is when making a decision about who to vote for. Of course I haven't voted for a democrat since Jimmy Carter. But that was the 1st election I could vote in and was young and naive. It was also the ONLY time I have voted for a (D) for POTUS. It was also the last time my Father pulled the (D) lever.

I think you are right on about McCain. Actually, it wouldn't surprise me if he chose a (D) as a running mate to show his 'bipartisanship'. Which in todays world means bowing down to democrats if you are a republican. The FairTax is the only thing I see that can save the republicans, but the MSM and dems will demaguoge it to the point of absurdity. The ironic thing is it should appeal the the dems 'base' more than anybody since EVERY ONE of them would get a monthly check under the FairTax, plus get to keep 100% of any paycheck they may get.
