I made another flight early this evening. Hwy 63 was a non-issue at that time... Automobile traffic seemed pretty normal. I expected the amphitheater to have a lot of people there but I see from the schedule that we were a couple of hours early as the Matt Stillwell concert started at 8:00 tonight.
The real mission of the trip was to see the boat traffic. Below is a photo of what we saw. To me, it looked as if 75% of the mooring spaces had been taken. If mooring continued another couple of hours (until 8:00 PM) then they'll go fast. People that arrive Saturday morning will be lucky if they get a mooring spot. You better get there early if you want one.
Lake Martin had a lot of boating traffic all over it. Lots of people must have taken a vacation day today.
