I loved this video. Kind of an expensive way to wake up a kid but I assume it did the trick. A bit long but worth the watch. BTW, this is not why my kids have to have me as a friend on facebook but them knowing I am there keeps their friends from getting off track. Have had to send a couple of reminders to them on occasion but nothing like this. Also, I would have used my 12 gauge tactical shotgun. Much cheaper and would take many fewer bullets.

For some reason, the URL thing doesn't seem to be working. I think you have to manually post the URL in the body of your post.

Its a shame he didn't kick it over and show what the bottom looked like after all those hollow points.....

Do you think he was just a little angry?

I suspect that this same video could have been made by a number of parents and those that see it now are jumping out of their seats cheering. I don't know what will happen after this video, whether the father will relent now that he's vented, but I'm pretty sure his daughter will remember it all of her life. I still remember quite vividly what happened to me when I was about her age and sassed my father. And it was a long, long time ago. It made quite an impression on me.

MM. Now you know why I keep an eye on you.  On FB that is.

The only time my daughter threatened to defriend me on FB was at my 50th bday party when I put on a pair of Depends diapers over my pants. She was properly mortified and said if that picture got posted she would defriend me immediately. One comment, I can probably see where this girl got her use of profanities. When our kids were young they started to say, "dang it" when they were frustrated and we realized they learned that from us. Of course after they have gotten older they know many other words but they know better than to use them around me.

With regard to the language, you are very lucky or you taught them very well. I'm appalled at the language I hear coming out of kids mouths around adults -- but then when I'm around the adults, I guess I know why they talk that way. I remember when I was young (about 8) I said damn in front of my mother and she grabbed up a bar of yellow laundry soap that was in my grandmother's kitchen and literally washed my mouth out. Even today, there are words I wouldn't dream of using in front of my father (not that I curse much anyway) My grandmother told me when I was very young that if I said a bad word that a dragonfly would come by and sew up my lips. LOL, I'm still very careful around dragon flies; I don't believe it, but why take the chance?

With regard to my kids it is probably a little of both but we definitely worked hard and there was a heavy price for using foul language.   Can't say that I had as good an upbringing but my Dad was in the military so salty language was a little more common in our house unfortunately.  At this point in my life I actually wince when I hear strong profanity.  It just bugs me and I can't tell you how many prominent people I know in business and politics that drop the f word like its nothing.  Always amazes me.

I know. I am always put off when I hear people using foul language. It's become so common in the workplace. I had a woman boss that dropped the f-bomb continually -- it was so offensive and I thought it made her sound uneducated (which she wasn't) and common. I also can't stand to hear people yelling in the workplace. I used to tell my employees that the only time anyone should be yelling is for someone to call 911.
