was in shock yesterday after seeing a News article about the new medicare prescription cards and their value. I went to Drugstore.com mentioned in the news, and checked the price of two prescriptions that I have to take and called CVS for the cash price. I found that if I was paying cash for these prescriptions (like some family I have has to) there would be a $150.00 savings on one of them, and $100.00 savings on the other. 90 day supply. That's alot of dough!
Checked with my doctor, they are familar with drugstore.com and routinely call into them for patients.

Watched national news (which I never do) last night. Both ABC and NBC had extensive coverage of the subject. Problem is, there are so many different discount programs out there, it was extremely confusing to me; much less seniors. However, the one constant was just what you mentioned, drugstore.com. Called my parents and they were already familiar with it and it will save them bundles.
