I found a black male dog (with white chest) last week wandering around the Union area. OverLook & McCarty The Village & Marina Marin developments. Posted dozens of signs. No calls. Any reports of lost dog? He seems to be well cared for. If you know who this dog belongs to please call me at 205.612.7947

No, a brown leather collar but no tags. I called the local vets and no missing reports. Posted dozens of signs, no calls. I am the realtor for The Village and share my time between my home at The Village and Birmingham. Broke my heart to see him here for several days. So I brought him to the Humane Society/Airport Road and gave them a very generous donation to keep him alive.I called them today and no one has reported him missing.

A few months ago (3 or so), a lady who lived near the blue creek bridge called the Classified Live TV program out of Alex City (Charter ch. 2) and
reported a black lab with white down the front as missing but I believe she said that his collar was red.........

It could have been red a while ago. It was leather and weathered. Someone at one time took good care of this dog. How do I get word to this channel 2 ?

I think their e-mail is waxc@charter.net (not real sure on that)...if you have charter cable, tune to ch. 2 at 12:00 noon (cst), you can call in the info live while on air (mon-fri)......thanks for caring for the dog..sure hope the owner is found.
