Just came back from PCB. first i want to thank all who suggested the vrbo.com web site. got a great deal on a ground floor room 100yds from the state park. Next, if any one takes a boat to that area you know how hard it is to find a condo to let you park it. well i found one that not only lets you park your boat there. they bent over backwards to keep an eye on it and even had a designated area beside the guard shak to park your boat and they supplied fresh water for washdown at no charge.

the place we stayed at is moonspinner and i will stay there again.

my family has stayed there for christmas 4 or 5 times. those folks are great. i second your recommendation.

I just couldnt believe how much they welcomed boaters.

It was a welcome change to all the other places we have stayed at for the last several years.

VRBO.com is a great site. we went to orange beach and found a place that provided a 30' dock for your boat with power hookup called the rock n real. It had great decor. pet friendly and awsome view of the pass. I suggest a boat trip over to pirates cove for a killer burger if you are down that way.
